Jennifer Mears at Network World has posted an article, “Open source companies to watch,” which looks at nine open source startups and an open source project - Cleversafe, Digium, Hyperic, Optaros, Qlusters, rPath, Sahana, WSO2, Zenoss, and Zmanda.

Hopefully 451 Group could provide deeper coverage of rpath and guidance for software companies who want to build appliances…
