The 2007 Open Source Think Tank

Raven Zachary, March 6, 2007 @ 3:24 pm ET

In a few days, I’m headed off to the 2007 Open Source Think Tank event in Napa, CA, hosted by the Olliance Group and DLA Piper. If you’re planning to be at the event, I will have some availability for meetings during the networking sessions and after-hours from Thursday evening to Saturday afternoon. Send me an email. The only bummer is that this conflicts with SXSWi and BarCamp in Austin, TX, this year. SXSWi and BarCamp don’t generally draw from the same attendee pool as an open source industry gathering, but the BarCamp in Austin last year included a fair number of open source folks - William Hurley (”whurley”) from Qlusters, Simon Phipps from Sun Microsystems, Matt Mullenweg from Automattic (WordPress), Michael Coté from RedMonk, Chris Messina (formerly of Flock), and Doc Searls - to name a few.
