Enterprise Open Source Conference 2007

Raven Zachary, June 25, 2007 @ 10:44 am ET

I’m in New York City this week for SYS-CON’s Enterprise Open Source Conference, which runs concurrently with SOA World. On Tuesday at 12:30pm, I will be presenting ‘Going Open – A Guide for Software Vendors and Their Customers.’ This will be a summary of the research we did for the CAOS Research Report #3 a few months ago. The presentation will include the results of a survey with software vendors that have engaged in open source activity, either as a major business-model shift away from software license fees as the basis for customer usage or the more limited release of some code using an open source license.

If you’re planning to be in New York City this week for the conference (or anything else), send me an email if you’d like to meet. I will have some time on Tuesday and Wednesday for meetings.
