		<description>To Savio&#039;s points I would argue that the likey members of a foundation in this case would less likely competitors (trying to produce their own competitive extensions) and more likely to be complementary companies. Look at the board of directors of the Linux Foundation - they are mainly hardware vendors and chipset vendors, not OS vendors.</description>
